Attention For the Rail Pass Users!!
It’s getting colder and colder every day. Finally it feels like the real ‘winter’ has arrived. Also The season is entering the year end, when many Japanese people make a big MOVE.
For you, the Rail Pass users, or people planning to travel in Japan in mid-late December and the beginning of January, HURRY UP to book shinkansen / train seats!!!
Many Japanese people go back to their sweet home town to see their family and relatives. The most crowded period will be 28, 29 December until 3,4,5 January, as this is also the standard company public holiday.
It will be a pity (actually very tiring too) if you have to stand up all your travel…as the crowd should be 120% sometimes…Please be prepared to GET A SEAT!!!

Yep, everybody been warned. I’ve have to stand on crutches from Tokyo to Kobe on the Shinkansen train.
